So far my trip to Spain has been a bit of a roller coaster:
My flights were alright, but I didn't get much sleep on them since there was a girl and her mother across the aisle from me who kept talking the entire night! Once we landed, we had to literally run to our next plane. We had 15 minutes to get from one plane to the other. There were about ten people on the plane that needed to get to our next flight, and we were so sure that we wouldn't make it, but we did! But then we waited for about half an hour before we actually took off.
When we finally landed in Madrid, I was exhausted from lack of sleep. I just wanted to get on my bus and drive to the hotel and SLEEP. But no, that just couldn't happen. Upon arrival, we had to wait about half an hour to get our bags, but mine weren't there!!! I freaked out of course, and ran over to the Iberia line to find out where they were. There were so many people in line with us who had also had their bags lost. Luckily, they knew exactly where they were, and they were to arrive on a plane at 4:30 (it was about 2:30 at this time). So I sat down, checked my emails, and waited. Around 5:30, my bags arrived on the conveyor belt, and I was finally able to get out of that place. I called a cab and high-tailed it out of there!
